Refund and Exchange Policy - Shipping Charges - AKA MOTORCYCLE ACCESSORIES, INC. 

Thank you for understanding.    

RUSH ORDERS:  Overnight, 2nd Day or 3-Day Delivery. 


DELIVERY TIME:  Time of delivery cannot be guaranteed except on Rush Orders or delivery by UPS/FedEx.  Most light items, i.e. flags, gloves, etc, are shipped via USPS with delivery confirmation.   Once the post office has the package, it is out of our hands and therefore, out of our control.   Delays happen.   Packages get lost, etc.   We will replace any lost packages; however, only after confirmation that the package is in deed lost.   We appreciate your patience.   We will work to resolve any issues within our control.

EXCHANGES ON GLOVES:   Due to the low cost and low markup on our gloves, we do not make much profit.   Even the shipping is less than what we actually have to pay.  As of January 31, 2008, we will no longer accept exchanges or returns on any gloves.   Exchanges cost us, so please measure and use the chart provided.

REFUNDS:   In an effort to provide our customers with a pleasant online shopping experience and to help maintain our low prices, we DO NOT offer refunds.   We do offer EXCHANGES with any unused item that is in its original condition and packaging provided that it has not been monogramed.   We will not accept C.O.D. returns.   Gloves are  excluded.

ITEM RECEIVED IN ERROR:  We will reimburse you the return shipping charges ONLY IF we are at fault for the item shipped to you being incorrect.     

Refused Orders:
Any refused order is subject to a 15% Restocking Fee and Shipping Charges.

Cancellations:
Any Canceled Order, once it has shipped, is treated the same as a refused order above.  Orders may only be cancelled if the order has not yet shipped.  To cancel an order, email us immediately.   Items on backorder may be cancelled prior to shipping.  You will be notified by email once any backorder is available for shipping to you.

DAMAGED ITEMS:  Items that show delivered to you that are damaged must be reported to us within 3 days of delivery and to the courier, i.e. UPS, as all shipments are insured.    

SALES/CLEARANCE ITEMS:   CLEARANCE OR SPECIAL BUY ITEMS are NOT eligible for exchanges.   

RETURN INSTRUCTIONS:  

If you choose to exchange an item, EMAIL US for a RA Number (Return Authorization number), which must be placed on the outside of the box and a Return Slip or copy of your original invoice inside the box.   All exchanges should be sent by a courier that provides tracking.   Any return packages lost by the courier are not the responsibility of AKA Motorcycle Accessories.   No exchanges are given until the item is received by us.

PRICING ERRORS:  

We reserve the right to make corrections to orders when the price of the product is listed in error.   You, as the customer, also have the right to cancel the order.   Errors are sometimes made in the coding, and therefore, the price shown on your order may be incorrect.   This is simply a human error, as all coding to this website is done by a person.

SHIPPING CHARGES:
Due to the extensive variety of products that we sell, some are very light and very small, but many are heavy.   When the weight or size of an item is a factor, ADDITIONAL CHARGES will apply.   These charges will be added at the time of processing your order.   UPS and FedEx charge for weight, as well as size.   The customer will be responsible for actual shipping charges when the flat fee is extremely less.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING:   For shipments to Canada and/or out of the continental United States, additional shipping charges will apply and will be added at our discretion.


EXPRESS SHIPPING:
Next Day Air or 2-Day Shipping is expensive and  is charged by weight, as well as size.  Express Shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer and will be charged to your credit card at the time of processing your order.  

If payment is received by Paypal and the shipping charges paid are less than actual shipping charges, the order will not be processed until payment for shipping is paid through Paypal as well.  The customer will be notified by email of any additional charges.

Failure to read this Return/Exchange Policy is not adequate reason for a refund or any alterations to this policy.  

WHEN YOU PLACE YOUR ORDER, YOU ARE AGREEING TO THE ABOVE POLICIES.

We reserve the right to make changes to this policy at any time.
